Invitations

Owners and admins invite people from Settings → Members. You cannot invite a second owner. The invitation role is admin or member.

Send an invitation

1. Open Settings → Members.
2. Enter the person’s email and choose admin or member.
3. Submit. ConstellaWP emails a unique link.

Rules:

• The email cannot already belong to a user in this organization.
• A pending (non-expired) invitation to the same address cannot be duplicated — resend or cancel it first.
• Invitations expire after 7 days.

Accept an invitation

The invitee opens the link and can:

• Create an account with email and password, or
• Sign up with Google or GitHub (OAuth)

The OAuth account email must match the invited address. After accept, they land on the dashboard in the organization with the role from the invitation.

Resend or cancel

On Members, pending invitations can be resent (new 7-day expiry) or cancelled. Cancelled and expired links no longer work.

Change or remove members

• Owner can change a member or admin’s role (not their own, not to a second owner).
• Owner can remove admins and members (not themselves).
• Admin can invite and can update members, but cannot change roles of other admins or the owner, and cannot remove users.
